Shah Rukh Khan is a delight for any interviewer simply because of his straight from the heart answers and with the conviction and wit he answers all questions thrown at him. Recently during his interview for a chat show with TV Host Karan Singh Chhabra, he shared a few teachings that his parents taught him and he still uses in life along with a few acting techniques of Nawazuddin Siddiqui that he wanted everyone to know.
Raees ki ammy jaan kehti hai ki “Koi dhanda chota bada nahi hota , dhande se bada koi dharm nai hota” So when Karan asked to share one teaching from his Mother that he uses daily in real life he shared “ My father taught me 1. Apna kaam swayam karo (Do your own tasks yourself) and 2. Jis sheher pen nazar nahi rakhoge use log le jaenge (Look after your things yourself).”
Adding to this Shah Rukh said
“My mother taught me never try to decrease your spending, work hard to increase your income”
Continuing with the conversation Chhabra asked him to share two things that he has learned from Nawazuddin Siqqiqui as a co actor and he promptly shares
“ Nawazuddin takes the most telling line and makes it least important making it more interesting by breaking the dialogue away and throwing it without looking it seem like a dialogue”
On asking about Mahira Khan missing from the promotions of the film he smartly said
“Main hun na ysar .. That’s more than enough”
