Vicky Ahuja shares,

Meri Durga is the story of a loveable father- daughter relationship. I have done a lot of characters with negative shades, but this is an out-and-out positive role. I believe this connects with every parent; it tugs at your heart with relatable parenting challenges. He goes against his family and society to make her daughter a better individual.”

As for little Ananya, she says,

“The serial is journey of a girl and her struggle to fulfill her father’s dreams. The character of Durga is very different from Ananya; growing up in Mumbai, I didn’t have the same childhood experiences that Durga has in Haryana. I love playing the role though.”
