In the upcoming YRF flick, Vaani Kapoor plays Shyra, a professional tour guide who is of Indian origin and born and brought up in Paris. Adept in speaking Hindi and French, she takes Indian tourists through the beautiful sights and landmarks of the French capital. Her familiarity with Paris goes beyond skin deep and influences her life choices as a person.
Vaani spent time walking around, absorbing daily life and slowly imbibed Parisian culture of leisure and living life to the fullest to become a tour guide who adores her home.
Vaani said,
“Paris grows on you like an indulgence. With Befikre I got a lot of time to spend in Paris. As part of my prep to play a tour guide I spent time soaking in the city like a local. From its cafes where people while away time to its colourful shops boutiques and tiny eateries I began to find a connect with all of it.”
