NRI model Raima Kapoor in Bigg Boss 10?

According to reliable sources, NRI model and actress from the UK Raima Kapoor is one of the participants of Bigg Boss 10 this season.

A little birdie told us that the model and actress who is also doing a Maneesh Singh film Bombay Dost may be one of the contestants of Bigg Boss 10. Bombay Dost – a crossover film is based on lesbian relationship among women and is set in Calcutta of the 1980s. While Raima Kapoor who is currently shooting with Maneesh Singh’s unit in Hyderabad for Bombay Dost was not available for comment, a source from Endemol – the production house that handles Bigg Boss for the Channel Colors said Raima Kapoor was spotted visiting both the Endemol and Colors offices in Mumbai last week.

The 20-plus Raima Kapoor is back with a bang after about 23 years of living in the UK and ready to take on Bollywood with gusto and gumption.

Says the spunky and devil-may-dare Raima Kapoor,

“I have almost no memories of my childhood in India as we shifted to Great Britain when I was very young. I am a Punjabi, but the first three years of my life were spent near Gwalior in Madhya Pradesh. Once we shifted to the UK everything changed.”

She impressed director and producer Maneesh Singh at the first go who signed her on for one of his projects Bombay Dost which is based on lesbian and gay relationships in India. Raima will play the main lead in this project.

Singh who was looking for a bold new girl with a desi look and clean North Indian Hindi accent, but minus the qualms of posing nude or topless immediately got to work. Shooting for the project now is in full swing and Singh is so besotted by Raima that he also signed her on for one of his Tamil projects as well, two days after she was signed for Bombay Dost.

Raima Kapoor was also in the news recently when some private images including nude photographs went viral not too long ago. Kapoor claims that the pics were clandestinely shot without her permission and she even filed a police complaint.

We wonder if all this buzz is in keeping with her entry into the Bigg Boss 10 house.
