Talented composer Shameer Tandon who curated and composed the world’s first transgender band – The 6 Pack Band along with Y-Films (the youth wing of Yash Raj Films) is shining out with multiple awards in this year’s prominent award ceremonies. Just few months back, the composer’s innovative band had won at the prestigious Cannes Grand Prix Glass Lion becoming the first Indians to win in that category. Few days later, the band grabbed a series of around 9 awards at the famous EMVIES 2016 and now they have been honored with 3 prominent awards at the Content Marketing Summit Asia 2016.
Y-films which along with Shameer had curated the band have won two awards the ‘Content Marketing Agency of the Year’ for their consistent work in in content marketing and ‘Content Marketing Innovator of the Year’ for their Six Pack Band innovation. The ‘Content Marketing Campaign of the year’ was grabbed by Brooke Bond from HUL for Six Pack Band campaign developed by Y-films. All the three awards were in association with 6 Pack Band and therefore the band can be rightly said as the star Content Marketing Summit Asia 2016.
