Prashant Bhatt makes a comeback to acting!

Actor and former fiction head of a popular channel, Prashant Bhatt is back in action as an actor after a long hiatus of seven years. Prashant is seen in a cameo in A-list producer, Yash Patnaik’s Jana Na Dil Se Door. His character’s name is Ramakanth, who is a rich businessman and also the husband of Sujata (Shilpa Tulaskar) who returned to her life after so many years.

When asked Prashant says,

“My cameo in the show will definitely take the story in the next level and I find it very interesting. The cameo is also allowing me to work in my current time span which is nice and also the basic idea was to come back to my home ground which is acting. Recently I have rediscovered my pleasure for acting and the cameo which I am playing in the show has an interesting twist which I was instantly attracted.”

Interestingly this is not the first time Prashant is working with Beyond Dreams. Prashant worked as a creative head in shows like Rang Badalti Odhni and Jamunia produced by Beyond Dreams.

He adds,

“I know Yash since the time we both worked in CID and we are good friends for a long time now. I know Mamta’s creative ability as well. So with friends when you are working you know things are sorted and the comfort level is excellent and then the final output is also positive.”

Prashant started his acting career with shows like Mano Yea Na Mano, Hum Paanch and then he has done shows like Itihaas, Kyuki Saans Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, Kasauti Zindagi Ki, Kalash and Hospital. Prashant has dabbled into many things from an actor to creative head to writing. So which one you have enjoyed the most?

“Honestly I have enjoyed every role of mine. I have written shows as well. I always do what I love so then that becomes my hobby.Anything which breaks my monotony is interesting.”
