Bollywood Featured Music What's Happenin'

Harshvardhan Kapoor and Saiyami Kher's chemistry redefines the meaning of love in Mirzya's new track Hitchki!

Singer and music composer Shankar Mahadevan is joined by folk music artist Mame Khan in this simple song where the singer is getting hiccups and unable to sleep from the deep level of hurt he feels while missing the one he loves. As the verses unfold, the song devolves into the lover’s pain and melancholy that reflect the pain of separation. The vocal voice is low and the melodic lines begin slowly.

Adil, played by the charismatic Harshvardhan Kapoor, is a stable hand who also doubles up as a Tourist Guide in Rajasthan and is very beautifully explaining the word Hitchki (Hiccups) to a bemused foreign tourist. As the song progresses, Soochi, played by the versatile Saiyami Kher, starts taking horse riding lessons from Adil, and what develops can only be described as hidden adoration and longing.
