It has been 6 years now when the process of crossover cinema started with Tere Bin Laden taking the Indian film industry by storm. Today after 6 films Ali Zafar is set to appear in his 7th Bollywood venture with King Khan SRK and Alia Bhatt in Dear Zindagi set to release on the 25th of November 2016.
While SRK will be essaying the role of Alia’s mentor, Ali Zafar will be seen romancing Alia Bhatt in his rockstar – esk charm while he plays a passionate singer and musician. The film will also have Kunal Kapoor and Ankit Bedi as Alia’s love interests at some point. This will be the first time our Rockstar and King Khan will be working together on screen, in this much awaited Red Chillies and Dharma Productions project directed by Gauri Shinde! Ali Zafar and Shah Rukh Khan have shared an amicable camaraderie and have been seen at parties and get-togethers having a good time.
While talking about first times, this is also one of the very few rare times that SRK has done a cameo in any film. Recently, almost the entire star cast of the film spent some time together chilling and having a great time over dinner. Pictures of the dinner were shared over social media by superstar SRK and rockstar Ali Zafar where the two hot stars were seen together along with leading lady Alia Bhatt, actor Kunal Kapoor, director Gauri Shinde, lyricist Kausar Munir and music director Amit Trivedi.
The team took some time out for bonding and boy did they all bond!
SRK seemed to have had a great time with his ‘Dear Zindagi’ team that he captioned his picture on Instagram as: “Thank u Dear Zindagi. Had a wonderful evening with the whole team finally.”
