Doesn’t feel good to help clean up your local community to make it a safer, and cleaner. There are many ways we can help our local community in making it a better place, whether it is motivating people to recycle or even picking up the trash at the beach so the animals don’t get injured. Well, Veteran filmmaker Subhash Ghai who is known for classic cult films from the 90’s recently made a difference in the community by taking out time from his busy schedule.
This renowned filmmaker along with a few of his industry friends took time out of their busy schedule Monday morning and took part in the Versova Beach cleaning drive. This drive was attended by 200 residents of Versova and the mission was to clean the garbage off the beach. Subhash Ghai has been closely associated with drives like these in the past that is for the society’s betterment and has made a difference by participating in them.He states,
“It was a wonderful feeling today to be part of this amazing clean up drive at Versova beach. My friend Afroz Shah had invited me to join the cleanup drive along with 200 residents who were gathered with their selfless passion to clean the garbage. We received great support from the BMC too who were present there. It was a real scene of Swach Bharat inspired drive. We are soon going re-initiate it and would urge all my students of Whistling Woods International and all the citizens to join me it!”
