"I am the teacher of Bengali language on the set" -Moon Banerjee

Life tends to take so many unexpected turns that we just have to accept it because it happens for the benefit of us.  This is what had happened with Bengali actress Moon Banerjee who came to limelight when she played “Sampada Basu” in Kasauti Zindagi Ke years ago.  The beautiful actress is back as a Bengali character again in Beyond Dreams most popular show “Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi”.


Moon plays the character of “Asha Bose” the mother of female lead Erica Fernandez. When talking more about her experience on set and the character she is playing Moon says,

“Playing Asha Bose is definitely a very nice experience. The whole cast is very warm and what you see is actually what you get. The family of Sonakshi Bose always brings a smile on audience face. Because the family members are very positive and see things in a different perspective.”

She also adds,

“Moon also adds,”Working with Beyond Dreams is definitely a nice treat, I am enjoying every day on the set and what is special about me is being a Bengali the family members are coming to me and always checking whether they are pronouncing the Bengali word in a correct way or not. I feel special about it. Many years ago when I played Sampada Basu in Kasauti Zindagi Ke I had got a lot from the role and after years at this phase in my career when I am playing Asha Bose I feel this role has a lot to offer me.”
