Ekta Kapoor is all set to make her Box Cricket League (BCL) International! More than 50 TV actors along with Ekta will be going to San Francisco in July end for the matches. Four teams have been selected to go abroad. While three top qualified teams are from the Champions League that concluded recently, one is chosen by a popularity poll. The four teams that will travel include Chennai, Delhi, Jaipur and Kolkata.
Commenting on the same Ekta says,
“BCL is the only platform that brings the biggest TV celebrities together and after this digitally and on-air, it has teased and excited the viewers. We had a lot of excitement coming from the overseas market where the show is followed loyally and thus we knew BCL had to be taken to a global audience.”
Ajay Chaudhary’s Paragon Entertainment, who is handling and hosting the entire league overseas, adds
“It’s the first time in the history of Indian Television that such a large set of Top TV stars are all going for one single show. Generally a show consists of a few faces but we decided to scale it up massively and thus setting a record of sorts for one of the biggest shows to hit America.”
Organizer and presenter of the league overseas Raj Pabla of 555 Entertainment adds
“This has been one of the most exciting and highly anticipated shows to come to the US. The response has been phenomenal and we’re thrilled to host the biggest star gathering yet”.
Box Cricket League (BCL) as a property is owned by Ekta Kapoor (Balaji Telefilms), Sunny Arora and Anand Mishra (Marinating Films).
The launch party happened on 1st July at R. Adda, Ramee Guestline, where the top stars turned up to celebrate the exciting overseas trip ahead. San Francisco sure is headed for a star studded July!
