Sneak Peek into Priyangsu and Sweta's fashion collections!

Priyangsu and Sweta have been quite the talk in the fashion industry. They showcased their LFW collection in Mumbai at AZA and FUEL store in Mumbia, May 2016. Here is a little bit of their history and images on their collection outlooks.

‘Femmes di Tahiti’ the collection was inspired by native tahitian prints, colors and motifs. It incorporated the stunning natural beauty, floral landscapes and a bohemian style of tahitian women with eclectic french Polynesian flavor.The garments were flowing silhouettes having a soft handloom chanderi, cotton matka, woven bapta silk and chiffon textures with vibrant colors straight out of works of the master of avant- grade Paul Gauguin. 

Garo by Priyangsu Maki and Sweta Tantia which was a launched in Kolkata is an Indian luxury brand that creates and designs contemporary Indian wear for women. It was named after a tribe in Assam, Garo by Priyangsu and Sweta and was initially inspired by bold tribal prints and motifs and also reflects the ancient traditions of indian craftsmanship in contemporary vocabulary.

Today, the brand is known for its bold prints, motifs, unique usage of colors, quality of fabrics, elaborated embroideries and magnificently rich Indian artistic taste.
