“Ignited Shores’ is the debut cover video of Prana, a band out of Mumbai where they have chosen two songs from opposite ends of the world that convey the same message of hope, resilience and the necessity to keep going. A beautiful blend of western music with eastern sounds, Prana brings us a mashup of “Kinare” from the hit film “Queen” and “Fix You” by Coldplay. Check it out!
Anshuman Singh is the vocalist as well as the guitrar player while Yash Nirwan plays the Sarod. The duo hopes to revive the beauty of classic Indian instruments through their music. They also hope to uncover the hidden gems of India through their music videos.
“We hope to uncover some of the most beautiful locations in India,” the artists said. “this one is a never before seen location of Versova Village in Mumbai!”
The video was edited by Joy Paul, sound mixed by Anant Joshi and it was recorded at Madboy Studios. Prana aims to bring audiences back to their roots while still exploring the beauty found in the unity of sounds from across the world.
“We’re proud of being Indian, while still excited to embrace the music of our western counterparts,” the artists said.
