It’s a known fact that Eijaz Khan is one talented actor but there is mroe tha what meets the eye when it comes to the Meri Awaaz Hi Pehchaan Hai.
In a time where actors demand more money, Eijaz is working for free! Yes you heard it right, free! When his mentor and mentor Nivedita Basu approached him for a cameo on the show he couldn’t refuse. The actor even said her oiled do the stint free of charge. Speaking on the same Nivedita says,
“I was surprised when Eijaz refused to charge anything. Not having worked with me for the longest time and then doing this make me feel loss of words. He started his career with me and so did five hundred other actors but this was like a really good thing of gratitude. Some actors in spite of knowing it’s my show quoted more than that they use to get earlier which had left me feeling weird. Such gestures are really noteworthy as his cameo of ten days neraly extended to more than thirty days and he sincerely stood by his commitment.”
On being contacted Eijaz was reluctant to respond and then said, “You can’t put price on friendship and loyalty.”
Now that’s what you call a dedicated actor!
