Earlier today, the makers of Azhar revealed the first look of two very important characters in cricketer Azharuddin’s life – Naureen and Sangeeta Bijlani.
Known for her out of the box and bold characters, Nargis Fakhri fits well into the shoots of former Miss India Sangeeta Bijlani. Her model behavior is clearly evident in the glamour poster which reveals her character to the audiences.
Prachi Desai who is essaying the role of ex Indian cricket captain Mohammed Azharuddin’s first wife, Naureen had a much more somber and homely look to.
Directed by Tony D’souza, Azhar is based on the life and times of one of India’s most loved cricket captains, Azharuddin and chronicles his rise and fall as country’s most controversial sportsman yet. The film stars Emraan Hashmi, Prachi Desai, Nargis Fakhri and Lara Dutta along with others. Produced by Ekta Kapoor, Shobha Kapoor, N. P. Singh and Sneha Rajani, the film is slated to release on May 13th, 2016. It is Balaji Motion Pictures and Sony Pictures Networks’ production.
