Sangram of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai and Vinod Khanna of Saheb Biwi Aur Boss are the Jai and Veeru. Coming from Delhi they have been friends since 15 years who met through common friends in Delhi.
Dhruv and Amal recall about their days when they met on a set where Dhruv was shooting for the film and Amal was a aspiring model back then. After that brief meeting they met in Mumbai when Amal after completing his Grasim Mr. India pageant was exploring some acting ventures although Dhruv had already done one film. Initially it was a formal friendship that grew strong over the time. Amal remembers the day when they were practicing for a play they broke the ice of formality and long talks made the bond deeper. Discovering their passion for cars, films and acting the Jai and Veeru became best friends with a trust for life.
Amal says,
“Our Janmabhoomi is Delhi where we met and our Karma Bhoomi is Mumbai where we became friends.”
Describing about how they balance their friendship Amal said,
“Dhruv is a very talented actor and a grown up child , his innocence and excitement for all things is still alive and on the other hand I am mature and I analyse a situation before getting too excited about same. That is how we balance each other in friendship.”
It’s a great thing that the Jai and Veeru are friends since 15 years and we hope this goes a long way.
