Ankur Bhatia who hails from New York will be seen playing Aishwarya Rai’s husband in Sarbjit. The actor auditioned for the film and post which he met director Omung Kumar and producer Sandeep Singh and was signed up for the role.
The actor will be seen essaying the character of Baldev. When quizzed about working with Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, he said,
“I was a great experience working with a talented actress like her. She is a thorough professional and her performance in the film is superlative. She has brought out the best in me.”
Sarabjit starring Randeep Hooda, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Richa Chadha releases May 20th.
