Sargun Mehta is a hit in Punjab!

Sargun Mehta popular actress who received critical praise for the role of Ganga in Balika Vadhu, is now creating waves in Punjab!

Sargun made her filming debut with the Punjabi film Angrej, which emerged as the second highest grossing Punjabi film of the year. Her latest film Love Punjab released this week, and she has received loads of accolades for her role. Sargun is married to television actor Ravi Dubey. Speaking about the movie Sargun said,

“It’s a new genre, and I love it. Audience loved my role and I am glad that Ravi too loved it. Ravi is my best and worst critic. He always gives me the most true and genuine feedback. There is one more Punjabi movie lined up but I can’t speak about it right now.”

As Ravi is busy with television and you are mostly outdoor, how do you guys manage your married life, “When I was in Canada, it was for a long time. I missed him a lot. Mostly when I am shooting in Punjab we spend good quality time when I am back. As we both know we love our job and we want to pursue our career. So when I would be away I would not miss anything but my husband a lot. This is how we always manage our long distance marriage due to my outdoor work commitments,” added Sargun.

Ravi has donned several avatars in his show, proud wife Sargun opined,

“There are many actors who don multiple roles in movies and television. But Ravi is a very fine actor and every role that he has donned he has carried it perfectly.”
