Maximum girls today are used to walking and dancing while wearing heels for hours. But ask a guy to do that, and naturally, the result could be disastrous. Recently, Television actor and anchor, Karan Singh Chhabra found himself in such a situation. For his currently running international talk show where Arjun Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor were to make an appearance, the actor wore 3-inch heels to promote gender equality which in turn impressed Kareena so much that she and her team invited him to her vanity van and posed for some exclusive pictures to promote the message.
A source from the set says,
“Sameer Rahim, the designer, who worked with Chhabra, got the heels customized to fit him, which made them comfortable.”
The source adds,
“Women’s feet are shaped differently. An average pair of heels would have never fit Karan’s feet. It was an interesting experience for him.”
When contacted, Karan says,
“Walking in heels is no easy task but I was very inspired when I saw Arjun Kapoor and Ranveer Singh wearing heels for the cause at an award ceremony and am glad they liked it. I have developed a new-found respect for women.”
Well I guess walking a mile in women’s shoes does change a man’s perspective.
