Rustic simplicity and understated elegance, the best ways to describe Jaya Bhatt and Ruchi Tripathi’s latest collection recently launched at Lakme Fashion Week Summer/Resort ’16. This collection was inspired by Wabi-Sabi, a quiet, free-flowing osmosis of natural objects and processes.
Emphasizing geometry and texture, this ensemble of ajrakhs and khadis is the ultimate meeting of form and fabric. Speaking about the collection, the duo stated,
“We are happy to showcase our collection for the very first time at LFW. The silhouettes are simple,
unpretentious, with fine embroidered detailing. And the look is never
flamboyant, but stylish, classic and wearable.”
