Alia Bhatt stars in the upcoming Dharma Production, “Kapoor and Sons Since 1921.” The stylish diva portrays the role of Tia, a young fun loving girl who has two brothers, Rahul and Arjun fall for her. During a recent promotional video conference with the press in New York, the actress laughed at the question if a pair of brothers has fallen for her in real life!
Alia said that thankfully something like that has never happened to her and she doesn’t know how to deal with it if it did happen in real life.
“It would be really awkward if two brothers fought for me” Alia said. “I really don’t know how to handle it in real life.”
In “Kapoor and Sons Since 1921,” Arjun and Rahul, played by Sidharth Malhotra and Fawad Khan respectively, come home for their ill grandfather’s last wish. The duo encounters Tia, played by Alia Bhatt, separately and fall for her. This love story isn’t the whole focus however, it is a film about the ups and downs of a family. As the story unfolds the brothers learn more about their parents, and that nothing is as perfect as it seems. Directed by Shakun Batra and produced by Karan Johar, “Kapoor and Sons Since 1921” releases March 18.
