"I personally hand pick all my actors" – Yash Patnaik

Beyond Dreams is back with yet another innovative show, Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi.

The fresh cast which has a mix of old and new actors. Talking about the casting of the show the man with a mission Yash Patnaik says,

“Casting is the second most important factor in a show. I personally hand pick all my actors. For me it’s very important to get the right faces for the characters we create. I will never go on air with actors I am not convinced because of time factor. What we create in scripts which takes months and at times years, has to be presented via right set of actors.”

Yash also adds,

” The romance has a new take. The characters are refreshing. We have got two wonderful actors in Shaheer Shaikh and Erica Fernandes. I am sure people will like their chemistry and fall in love with them.”

Kuch Rang Pya Ke Aise Bhi is a story about a mother,son and daughter in law, yet not a Saas-Bahu show. The story is set against a very realistic setting. Characters are very real, their emotions are very real and the setting is very real. Saket Chaudhury who has directed popular Hindi films like Pyar Ke Side Effects and Shaadi Ke Side Effects is the director of the show. Pradeep Yadav who directed Balika Vadhu for 8 years is also going to be with Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi,after Saket leaves for his next film. Yash also tells about the unique title of the show.

“We wanted to give a lighter title which will summarize equations between mother and son and as well as lovers. We needed to balance the title without tilting towards only two characters. Rang is also a lucky word for us, one of our show Rang Badalti Odhani was a huge success.”

Well it seems as though Iss Pyaar Ka Rang audience pe chadh hi gaya!
