Today marks Bollywood actress Shraddha Kapoor’s 27th birthday. The daughter of Shakti Kapoor, this beautiful bubbly actress came into the industry 6 years ago and made her mark, alongside Aditya Roy Kapur, with her super-hit film Aashiqui 2. In honor of her special day, here are 5 of our favorite things about Shraddha!

1. Her singing talent

Many actors and actresses in B-town have recently stepped foot into the music territory singing and rapping in film songs. But Shraddha is an actress who is definitely one of the better singers in our industry, and rightfully so, as she has learned classical music from her maternal grandparents. I absolutely loved her reprise of “Bezubaan Phir Se” from ABCD 2.

2. Her dancing skills

Not only is Shraddha a great singer, she is also a fabulous dancer with killer moves. To gear up for ABCD 2, Shraddha began taking hip-hop and B-Boying dance classes to build her posture and flexibility. When Shraddha Kapoor and Tiger Shroff were children, they used to have dance competitions and she would always defeat Tiger. Way to go, Shraddha!

3. She is a die-hard romantic

Who says that Bollywood actresses can’t dream of an ideal romance? Rumor has it that like many girls around the world, Shraddha Kapoor is a hopeless romantic and loves classics like Titanic. We can’t wait to see her in her upcoming romance flick, OK Jaanu!

From playing a soulful singer in Aashiqui 2 to a free-spirited girl full of love and gratitude for life in Ek Villain, Shraddha is continuing to expand beyond her comfort zone with forthcoming films like Baaghi and Rock On 2.

Shraddha Kapoor may be Shakti Kapoor’s daughter, but she certainly does not take her family stardom for granted. Apparently, when she was on the sets of Haider, she kept reminding herself how fortunate she was to have the chance to work alongside stalwarts like Tabu and Kay Kay Menon. Sometimes she would even go to the sets simply to observe her fellow co-stars in their element. For Shraddha, gratitude is definitely the attitude!
