Who wouldn’t mind playing Double roles in a show or a film – they are quite fun and yet challenging! Actor Saurabh Pandey who is playing Lord Krishna in Siddharth Kumar Tewary’s Suryaputra Karn would be seen in double role in the form of Paundarka Vasudeva who was the kind of Pundra Kingdom.
He imitated Krishna attire and would be killed by Krishna in the battle. Saurabh says,
“I had never imagined i would get to do a double role in TV and that too of GOD. I take forty five minutes in getting into the attire of Krishna but getting into Paundarka takes one hour at least. It’s a thrilling experience as Krishna Gyaan also people are loving. This one role has given me so much variety in the show for performance that I am quite happy.”
“I had seen Devil’s doubles and Dominic Cooper played double role in it and after watching that film the dream of double role stayed with me and is fulfilled now. Paundarka is a classic example of doing bhakti out of balance where he forgot his own identity and I wish such a thing never happens with anyone in real time.”
