Shradha Sharma who was last seen in Comedy Classes soon going to be seen in a whole new avatar. The bubbly actress will be playing a glamorous sadhvi in Zee TV’s Neeli Chatri Wale.
On being asked about her character she responded ,
“I am playing Sadhvi Uma who’s husband has taken a jal samadhi and she is been waiting since a year for his return. While she is awaiting his return, Bhagwan Das(Rajesh Kumar) comes out of the river. Since Bhagwan Das has a maun vrat, he is unable to communicate with her so sadhvi thinks that he is her husband and she takes him to the asharam.”
The actress further adds,
“This is an episode on Mahashivratri. My character is very different and my look is also very different and glamorous. They thought that I am very quiet simple for the role so accordingly they designed my look and costumes in a glamorous way. The idea of this attire for the sadhvi was a wedding dress in all red.She is adamant to marry her husband again. She dresses up for the wedding and takes Bhagwan Das when his maun vrat gets over and he tells her that he is not her husband.”
When asked about her experience shooting in Maheshwar near Indore with Rajesh Kumar she says,
“We shot in Maheshwar near Indore and it was a good experience. The shooting was done near Narmada river and in a fort . It was too hot. Ashwini Dhir did the direction and I enjoyed it very much. Rajesh Kumar is a very supportive and nice actor. He’s doing the role of Bhagwan Das really very good and I enjoyed a lot working with him. The overall experience of shooting for Neeli Chatri Wale was amazing. Ashwini Dhir gave me an opportunity to work with him.”
