It’s every girls dream to have the perfect proposal! All lads take some tips from this chap as he created such a heartfelt and romantic proposal with the help of Chicago’s favorite South Asian a Capella group, Chai Town!
This past Valentines Day, Chai Town helped put together the most perfect proposal together.
Gaurav Gadodia and Madhuri Patel are both from Chicago, and are huge fans of Chai Town! Gaurav was ready to pop the question to his loved one Madhuri on v-day, but before doing so he went the whole nine-yards to do so.
Milan Shah President of Chai Town said,
Gaurav reached out to me to help him propose to his girlfriend, Madhuri, in their home city of Chicago. Since they were both fans of Chai Town, and specifically “Mann Mera” and “Mirrors,” he wanted to use those two songs as the music to express their love.
After the entire plan came to place, Chai Town coordinated themselves well in front of the famous Bean in Chicago. There was a photographer and videographer acting as if they were just shooting the group for a Valentines day video. Little did Madhuri know what was really happening…
During the song “Mann Mera,” the couple walks by, recognizes the song and stuck around to watch. Then Milan asked the crowd if Chai Town could serenade a couple out there. He of course picked Gaurav and Madhuri and started singing “Mirrors.” At the end of the song, the group turned mirrors facing Madhuri to reveal that Gaurav was on his knees, and then of course he popped the question.
