Kamya Punjabi, who was last seen in he controversial reality show Bigg Boss 8, is the owner of Jaipur Raj Joshiley in BCL Season 2. The show which is soon to air on Colors has a lot happening for it behind the scenes.
Kamya, who is a third time owner says it takes effort to bring a team together,
“To be a team owner is like a full time job for me. As an actor I know that taking care of actors is difficult but at the same time it is easy for me because I know that what they want. The stakes are very high as far as the uniform,the practice,team selection and promotions are concerned, so it is not an easy thing to handle so much. To be a team owner is like being a mother.I have to look after the actors that they are happy and there are no regrets.I have to make sure that my team players are together.So,overall it is a big responsibility.My vision for the team is to win this tournament.”
When asked about the name Jaipur Raj Joshiley is so unique the actress says,
“I am the one behind this name.I was thinking the words that could rhyme with Jaipur. Whenever I hear Jaipur word I feel very good and it is a clean city so I decided my first name Jaipur.I have not done any research for this name but it was in my mind.So I thought Jaipur Raj Joshiley is perfect name for my team.”
The actress further adds,
“This time BCL season 2 is going to be bigger and I am very happy that this time BCL is going to be super hit and bigger than previous season.I am hoping,praying and I am sure BCL is going to me more bigger in future.”
Talking about her love for cricket the actress says,
“I am extremely passionate about cricket.I just love cricket and I am very big fan of cricket.If I am shooting and match is going on so I feel very restless and I start seeing score updates in my mobile.If I had been a a boy I would have been definitely a cricketer. Even if I have a son he would be a cricketer.I always wanted to buy a IPL team but now it is BCL and it is a big thing for me.I love Indian cricket team and all the players of the team.Whenever I watch Indian cricket match I wear Indian Jersey and make Indian flag on my cheeks.I am die hard fan of cricket.So that’s why I am part of BCL.”
The actress further adds,
“Multitasking is a way of life for me because I am an actor,mother,daughter and the owner of Jaipur Raj Joshiley team.So I have to look after everybody.Multitasking is not new for me.It keeps my mind busy.My strength is my team and my weakness is my team.”
