In the current generation of Bollywood, Shakti Kapoor’s daughter, Shraddha Kapoor, has been making her mark with an interesting array of films. Shraddha solidified her place in the world of Bollywood with hits like Aashiqui 2 and Ek Villain that were directed by Mohit Suri. The combination of Shraddha and Mohit worked well twice before, and now, reports suggest that she is set to work with him again for movie number three together! Mohit Suri has apparently signed Shraddha for the lead role in the film Half Girlfriend.
Half Girlfriend is an adaptation of the hit novel of the same name that was written by Chetan Bhagat. The tale is a coming-of-age love story of a Bihari boy named Madhav and an upper society girl named Riya. Shooting will begin soon.
