The Indian Film Industry is one of the few in the world that is so accepting of actors and musicians from around the world. Whether one is home grown in India, or from Pakistan, Australia, UK, America, Canada, and beyond, you’ll be sure to find a place in India. As we have seen, the past few years Pakistani actors Fawad Khan and Ali Zafar (who is also a singer) have carved a niche for themselves in Bollywood. Their careers reached all new heights after breaking out in India’s Bollywood films. Now, singer, actor, and dentist (it’s true he’s also a dentist!) Adeel Chaudhary is ready to make his Bollywood acting debut! He is no stranger to the world of entertainment and had provided vocals for Bollywood films in the past, and also made his acting debut in Pakistani TV.
The actor-singer, who marked his acting debut with the super hit Pakistani TV series “Kaise Tumse Kahoon”, first accessed the Indian market with his international commercial for Pepsi and then shot to fame with his chartbuster album ‘Koi Chehra’. He has also bagged the MTV award for his chart-buster song ‘Move Your Body’ featuring Shahid Kapoor and Vidya Balan. After featuring alongside Shah Rukh Khan in three ads, he is now ready to take Bollywood by storm with writer-director Vivek Kumar’s upcoming musical romantic film ‘Rhythm’.
Vivek says,
“I always wanted to cast fresh faces in the film, it was important for me to place a face to the character to which the audience can immediately connect. I instantly knew that Adeel fits the bill when I saw the audition he had sent me. My faith in Adeel’s ability to play Rohan was such that the first time we met was on the first day of the shoot.”
With so many achievements already under his belt, this is certainly a debutante to look forward to in this musical romantic film shot in the scenic locales of Poland. Presented by R. N.
