Television actress Rashami Desai, who was a part of Nandish Sandhu’s team in the cricket reality show Box Cricket League until last year, has now joined actor Ajay Chaudhary’s team Lucknow Nawabs.
Incidentally, Ajay, Nandish and Mrunal Jain co-owned the team Ahmedabad Express together last year but Ajay opted out to form his own this year. Talking about her decision, Rashami says,
“I have many friends who I would love to support in this team. It’s a late entry because I was contemplating whether I should join the show as I don’t know how to play cricket, but my team has promised to train me.“
Ajay Chaudhary adds,
“Rashami Desai is my family friend. She’s been a great costar in Uttaran. She’s a brilliant actor and a superb human being. I am grateful to Rashami for being part of my team Lucknow Nawabs in BCL season 2. She has a great fan following and I am very sure about this fact that no one can be the better choice as a face of the team other than Rashami Desai for Lucknow Nawabs. She is a very positive person and it shows in her conduct”.
Box Cricket League (BCL) as a property is owned by Ekta Kapoor, Sunny Arora and Anand Mishra and is the most awaited reality show this year.
