Word has it that a fourth installment in the Dhoom franchise is on the cards, and Parineeti Chopra is at the top of YRF’s wish list for a leading lady!
After Esha Deol, Rimi Sen, Aishwarya Rai, Bipasha Basu, and Katrina Kaif set the screen on fire in the first three Dhoom films, Parineeti would certainly make for an unconventional choice for the popular action series. But until casting is officially confirmed, we’ve come up with a list of five actresses we’d love to see ‘dhoom machale’ in Dhoom 4!
Sunny Leone
Sunny Leone would be an inspired casting choice for a franchise like Dhoom! She’s already the most Googled celeb in India, and she recently won over the general public with her poise under pressure in her now-infamous interview with Bhupendra Chaubey. After starring in a slew of adult comedies and niche films, it’s high time Sunny makes the leap into mainstream commercial cinema…and she’s certainly sexy enough to fill out the Dhoom bikini!
Deepika Padukone
Deepika is the undisputed Queen Bee of Bollywood. Roping her in for Dhoom 4 would be the casting coup of the decade! And what with her ongoing action training for her debut Hollywood film xXx, we’re sure Deepika will soon be in shape to kick some serious onscreen ass!
Jacqueline Fernandez
After scoring films with Salman Khan and Akshay Kumar, Jacqueline Fernandez has been steadily building up her profile in Bollywood over the last few years. Equal parts cute and sexy, she would be an ideal choice for the Dhoom franchise!
Shruti Haasan
The daughter of South superstar Kamal Haasan, Shruti is by far one of the most interesting heroines working in Indian cinema today. Apart being a talented actress, she’s also a real-life rockstar who fronts her own band, The Extremists. She’s definitely sexy, but in an edgy way that sets her apart from previous Dhoom heroines. She would certainly be a breath of fresh air for the franchise!
Lisa Haydon
The fact that Lisa looks like a goddess is common knowledge, but her performance in Queen proved that she’s got acting chops, as well! It would take a pretty big hero–literally!– to stand up to this dusky beauty, but the right casting combo could result in some seriously scorching onscreen chemistry…and isn’t that what Dhoom is all about?
