Baba Kahn is one of the most internationally recognized DJs in the South Asian Scene. As a DJ he has won plenty of accolades having won Canada’s number one Club DJ five times and most recently (2013), the prestigious Anokhi Magazine’s DJ of the Decade Award. He also branched out into production, recording Culture Shock: East Meets West in 2008. Baba Kahn will be releasing remixes of popular Bollywood track using his signature Culture Shock production for Tips Music India. The first remix is: “Mar Jaayen” from the movie: “Loveshhuda” directed by Vaibahav Misra and starring, Girish Kumar and Naveet Dhillon.
The original version of “Mar Jaayen” is sung by Atif Aslam and has over 5 million views and counting. Baba Kahn’s remix is an upbeat version of the song featuring the R&B/Hindi vocals of upcoming superstar, Jai Matt. Kahn will be releasing more Bollywood remixes in the coming year with various artists!
