There’s a new star on the block Amrit Dasu, he goes by the name Dasu!
Dasu is the new pop sensation from the legendary Rishi Rich camp that previously introduced pop stars like Jay Sean and many other British Asian and International artists.
Having previously showcased her versatility with songs like November and That’s Right, the talented Dasu was quickly snapped up by the Universal Music Group. Dasu’s first release with the label Dil Kya Kare (Did I love You?)— a perfect blend of Hindi and English vocals infused with Rishi Rich’s inimitable music production.
The accompanying video comes with an added surprise as it stars the stunning and beautiful Bollywood movie star and model, Mallika Sherawat. The enchanting actress has appeared in a number of his films like Murder, Kis Kis Ki Kismat, Bachke Rehna Rebaba, Shaadi Se Pehla and Darna Zaroori Hai. She was also the first Indian actress to star in a Jackie Chan film, The Myth.
New York based Dasu is well versed in Hindi, Punjabi, and of course English. He writes and sings most of his own tunes, and quite surprisingly he is also fluent in Cantonese.
