Tisca bags Best Actress award for ‘Rahasya’

Tisca Chopra has recently bagged the Best Actress award for Most Entertaining Actor in Thriller for ‘Rahasya’.

 

“Doing a film like ‘Rahasya’ is a reward in itself. The Best Actress award (Most Entertaining Actor (female) in a Thriller) is like the icing on the cake, more so, since it’s not for a big ticket film, but a small film that almost didn’t get released,” says Tisca.

 

The versatile actress who made her mark with films like Taare Zameen Par, Qissa, among others, has also proven her mettle in South and the Marathi film industry, garnering accolades for her power-packed performances with each big screen outing.

 

Director of ‘Rahasya’, Manish Gupta says,

“Tisca is a superlative performer, she got right under the skin of the character she portrayed although the character had multiple shades and layers to it. She’s also extremely confident – she’d insisted that I cast her in this character though I had actually approached her to play another character in the film. She is very professional, disciplined and dedicated to her work. It’s been a pleasure working with her and we’ll be working again in the future soon.”

 

Tisca will next be seen in Ghayal Once Again and Loveshuda.
