The 'Neerja' trailer crosses the one million-views mark!

Fans and critics alike are raving about ‘Neerja’! The trailer for the upcoming Sonam Kapoor starrer has already received more than 1 million views on YouTube and Facebook. Narrating the story of Neerja Bhanot to the audience for the first time, the film’s gritty and heart wrenching story has struck a chord with all.

Neerja Bhanot was a brave young woman who sacrificed her life while protecting the lives of 359 passengers from hijackers on the PanAm flight 73 in 1986.

Sonam stars as Neerja, while veteran actress Shabana Azmi plays Neerja’s mother. Shekhar Ravjiavani plays the role of her love interest.

Directed by Ram Madhvani, ‘Neerja’ is produced by Bling Unplugged and
Fox Star Studios. It is slated to release on February 19th, 2016.
