The actress, who was Sanjay Guptas find in Jazbaa and essayed the role of Shabana Azmi daughter in the film, would be seen portraying the role of Juhi Chawla in the Darr remake having Karan Veer Bohra in the lead. A source close to the production house revealed that a 30 day schedule in Manali will be followed by an extensive schedule in Mumbai and casting for other pivotal characters is yet on.
Post Jazbaa Priya was the ideal choice to have played the lead and has seen Darr over and over again to get extracts of the character. The actress for sure has a heavy responsibility getting into the shoes of the iconic Kiran played by Juhi Chawla in the original. Congrats on bagging the role Priya!
