In a rare tribute to Bollywood’s stuntmen, a special pre-release screening of the action adventure Point Break that will be attended by Sunny Deol has been organised for the action teams here.
The action-adventure thriller Point Break, packed with the most high-octane stunts ever seen on the big screen has been garnering accolades worldwide for capturing the extreme death-defying stunts ever performed in a feature film. And now in a rare gesture, a special pre-release screening of the massive Hollywood production has been organised especially for Bollywood’s stuntmen and action teams on Friday, December 11, 2015. Making the screening all the more special for them will be action hero Sunny Deol, who is also slated to attend the screening, to appreciate the stuntmen for the brave work that they do to make the heroes look more heroic.
The film that hits theatres on 1st January 2016, boasts of the most daring athleticism, stunts and action sequences all performed by elite athletes representing the world’s best in class in the world of extreme adventure sports. So, who better than the industry’s stuntmen the real heroes to watch and appreciate the film!
Directed by Ericson Core (Best known for his work as a DoP in Fast and Furious as well as directing Invincible) the film is a remake of the 1991 cult hit Point Break starring Patrick Swayze and Keanu Reeves. Starring in this new rebooted version are Édgar Ramírez (Zero Dark Thirty, The Bourne Ultimatum, Carlos the Jackal), Luke Bracey (G.I. Joe: Retaliation, The Best of Me, November Man), along with Teresa Palmer (Warm Bodies), Delroy Lindo (Sahara, Gone in Sixty Seconds), and Ray Winstone (Noah, The Departed).
