Pandit Rajan Sajan Mishra spellbound the audience at India Habitat Centre!

India’s renowned singers of the khyal style of Indian classical music Pandit Rajan Mishra and Sajan Mishra spellbound the audience at India Habitat Centre’s Hindustani Vocal Recital in collaboration with National Channel. Stein auditorium of IHC witnessed a large number of audience to hear the Mishra brothers.

Along with Rajan-Sajan, Ritesh and Rajnish Mishra (sons of Rajan Mishra) were also seen onstage, along with Shubh Maharaj on Tabla and Sumit Mishra playing Harmonium.

Rajan and Sajan Mishra learned classical music from their grandfather, Bade Ram Das ji Mishra, and father, Hanuman Prasad Mishra. They were awarded with the Padma Bhushan in 2007, Sangeet Natak Akademi Award in 1998, and Gandharwa National Award in 1994-1995. They were also awarded with the esteemed National Tansen Samman for 2011-12 on 14th December 2012.
