20 years after ‘Independence Day’ redefined the sci-fi adventure genre for a generation, the next chapter ‘Independence Day: Resurgence’ has arrived, and it is delivering extraterrestrial catastrophe on an epic scale!

Focusing on the next generation of heroes, ‘Independence Day: Resurgence’ has a young star cast led by Liam Hemsworth of ‘The Hunger Games’ fame. The film will also be anchored by veteran actors Vivica A. Fox, Jeff Goldblum, and Bill Pullman, who will reprise their original roles.

As history repeats itself, the young and the old must band together to fight off an alien attack of unprecedented proportions.

‘Independence Day: Resurgence’ is directed by Roland Emmerich. It is slated to release June 24, 2016.
