I encounter a lot of people on a day-to-day basis who will ask me for ‘Bollywood News’ and what’s happening in B-town. With all these different encounters and conversations, I hear people talk complete nonsense about celebrities in B-town, and it irks me because simply these guys work hard to simply entertain us and take us out of reality.
A few times these nonsense talkers have questioned me, “Is Ranveer on crack?” Apart from my reaction, and the conversation that is followed from this question… All I have to say is, why can’t we handle a little loud energy, and different personalities?!
This handsome-young-chap and star is stealing all hearts, and he is nailing every character he plays on-screen. Which brings me to say that today is his 5 year anniversary in the film industry and with just eight days till his eighth film releases, Bajirao Mastani!
When I think of Ranveer there is one thing that comes to mind which is his substantive personality. Whatever he shows off screen to his fans and viewers is pure and sincere. He doesn’t pretend to be something else and if he feels like he wants to scream and dance and sing, then he will. If he feels like he wants to express his feeling for someone else, he will. And what’s beautiful is that he will do it in such a way, no one can get mad or feel the need to expose him.
You see this side of him from his first film in Band Baaja Baraat as Bittoo Sharma. That energizing, affectionate personality is well displayed in this film which brings out his ‘Punjabi-ness’ as well. This scene is my all time favorite from this film and really marks his forever moment in B-town!
I can’t say that I love all his film on a whole, but there is no doubt all the characters he has played are exceptionally amazing. From Band Baaja Baraat to Lootera and then doing films like Ram Leela, Gunday, Kill Dill, and Dil Dhadakne Do.
His co-stars have never said anything bad about him, but have always boasted him by expressing his affectionate vibe, dedicated, sincerity, loving, and as his director of Lootera Vikramaditya Motwane says,
Some of his directors have a little something to say about this superstar in the making!
The boasting and love doesn’t end here though! His heroines also have loads to say about the Fashionable-Raja! Parineeti Chopra shares a short clip and shyaari too for her beloved co-star.
Recently in an interview with Anupama Chopra on The Film Companion’s YouTube channel, Ranveer was seen wearing a top-to-bottom rabbit print suit and matching bow-tie, drinking a large cup of coffee and nutella and toast! He expresses this is the “root of all evil” especially his black coffee. The nutella is just his way of keeping happy! Well Ranveer we surely know the happy feeling of eating nutella too!!
This actor may be a celebrity, but he doesn’t walk away from showing how human he is as we all are. What I love the most as well is his relation with all his co-stars and friends in B-town, especially with ‘Baba’ aka Arjun Kapoor! This beautiful bromance is way hotter than Ranveer-Deepika and there’s no doubt he will disagree with that! The friendship is so strong because they go way back before being famous. Which reminds me of when they both appeared together on the infamous couch of Koffee With Karan Season 4. Their connection is too cute to handle!
