After Chaitanya Tamhane’s film ‘Court’ was selected as India’s official entry at the Oscars, the upcoming Kannada film ‘Care of Footpath 2’ took everyone by surprise when it made a lateral entry into the Oscar race. The music of the movie has also been added to the chart for Oscar consideration, and no one is more excited about it than the film’s music director, Vivek Kar!
Says Vivek,
“This is really an emotional moment for me and my family. I don’t know what happens next, but for this moment I really want to thank God and my close ones who have been there for me in my good and bad days. It’s really an honor to work with Bollywood’s top lyrics writer Kumaar, who has been more than my mentor. I also want to thank Pritam Da my inspiration for his blessings all the time, and my entire team.”
The premiere of ‘Care of Footpath 2’ will be held in Los Angeles next month.
