‘Wedding Pullav’ directed by debut Director Binod Pradhan seems to be fast becoming the flavour of the season on TV, all thanks to the high number of TV integrations that the upcoming film is getting. While it’s not an uncommon trend on TV as most films starring biggies do tie up with reality shows with the stars making an appearance on them. The fact that a film featuring a pair of newbies – Anushka Ranjan and Diganth – is being integrated in the maximum number of reality & Fiction shows is definitely taking this trend to a whole new level.
A trade insider says,
‘It’s not just the films that stand to benefit with these integrations.The shows also get that added touch of glamour and so it’s not just the stars, the shows too are just as choosy about who they want on their sets. So, for a pair newcomers to get a thumbs-up on so many reputed shows, says much, especially since they are not backed by a big star.’
Having made an appearance on Indian Idol Junior recently, Anushka and team were also seen in the super-hit prime time show “Yeh Rishta kya Kehlata hai”, it was the first time that the cast of any movie has appeared on the longest running most popular show on TV. This is not all, the Wedding Pullav team is expected to appear on other popular reality shows and daily soaps as well
