Remember the film Rock On from 2008? After the success and hype of this rocking drama film, the makers decided to continue it’s success into a sequel and today the team is back together for day 1 of shoot for Rock On 2!
The only difference between the first and the second is there are some added characters in addition to the original cast. One of them we know very well and that is Shraddha Kapoor! Yes it sure is, but we will not be seeing Farhan romance Shraddha on-screen as in the first film he is married to Prachi Desai and that duo will continue into the second film too. Farhan Akhtar tweeted this morning,
Yes the team is starting their first day of shoot at a famous hill station at Shillong in India.
The sequel film is directed by Shujaat Saudagar and the Rock On 2 team will be shooting in Shillong for about a month before they head to their next location. Shraddha Kapoor has voiced her excitement for the film as she will also be singing a few original songs. The films music is again by none other than Shankar Ehsaan Loy. Prachi Desai, Arjun Rampal, Purab Kohli and Farhan Akhtar reprise their roles as rockstars in the sequel of Rock On.
