Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan, who has been knighted with titles such as Badshaah, King and superstar, was presented with a PhD degree by the University of Edinburgh in recognition of his outstanding record of philanthropy, humanitarianism and global influence as an actor.
This is the second honorary doctorate for Shah Rukh Khan. He has previously received an honorary doctorate degree in arts and culture from Britain’s University of Bedfordshire.
