A few weeks back when news break happened around Asin’s marriage with entrepreneur Rahul Sharma, the actress didn’t take time to acknowledge that. She was happy to announce her decision of settling down in matrimony. However, and as is the case with celebrity weddings, rumours and speculations around dates have already started making the rounds. So much so that even the dates have been ‘announced’ by a section of media, what with her wedding being ‘confirmed’ for November 26 in Delhi, followed by a reception (November 27) and then a reception in Mumbai on November 28.
“None of which is true by the way,” says a source close to Asin, “These dates are as imaginary as they can get. Asin was totally amused to read about these. It is her marriage and outsiders seem to know more about her plans. She has been honest and forthcoming all this while about her marriage. When she isn’t hiding anything, why the rush to jump to conclusions? As always, when she has something concrete to announce, she would do that. Let that be respected.”
On contacted, Asin, who celebrates her birthday today (Monday), sounded amused,
“This was a birthday surprise for me. It’s really funny to see all these false dates about my wedding that are thrown about. I am completing my assignments and contracts that will take up to the end of this year and post that only will there be a wedding. So please wait for an announcement from me.”
