Former Miss World 2000, Bollywood star, singer alongside Will.i.Am and Pitbull, and now soon to be America’s hottest brown girl on TV– Priyanka Chopra’s Quantico premiers this Sunday September 27 on ABC Family at 10 PM EST!
The all rounder female celebrity has crossed the ocean on a day-to-day basis between India and America to achieve her goals and dreams.
Being a huge fan-follower of Priyanka Chopra, she has evolved immensely with time. Her on-screen acting presence, dialogue delivery, the way she enables herself as a spokes-person and most importantly sticking with her roots. She has a HUGE fan following, known to be one the top celebs with the most Twitter followers– the #PCManiacs are growing day by day, and there’s no doubt there will be more across America starting this Sunday!
The actress has completed almost 50 films in about thirteen-years of her career, and in 2010 was appointed as the UNICEF Brand Ambassador for child rights.
While we await for the TV Series to begin this Sunday, let’s go back down memory lane.
15 Years ago when PC was crowned Miss World 2000! Only little did she know that day that she was going to come this far down into her life and make it as an international well known celeb.
In 2008 she won her first National Award for her critically acclaimed film, Fashion. At this point, she was only 26 and was set to sign many amazing films ahead of her!
As a true ‘PC Maniac’ if I had to choose one film of Priyanka’s that stands out to me, it’s Barfi! (2012). Till this date it irritates me and I know it irritates her that she was not recognized through an award for this outstanding performance. But at the end of the day, the fans, audience and critics all loved her very much as the unforgettable- Jhilmil.
A year later in 2013 she signed her second single, Exotic with Interscope featuring Pitbull! The actress displayed her melodious voice internationally and hit number 16 on the Billboard of hot electronic-dance-club songs!
And now… in two days we will finally see this evolved single handed talented international star on ABC as a Rookie and FBI Agent in Quantico!
