Sam Smith shares teaser of 'Spectre' theme song!

Grammy award winning artist, Sam Smith shared a fifteen-second clip of ‘Writings On The Wall‘, his much anticipated theme song for the twenty-fourth James Bond film, Spectre on his social media accounts. Smith co-wrote the song with fellow Grammy award winner, Jimmy Napes. It is the first time since 1965 that a male solo British artist recorded a James Bond theme song.

Smith’s debut album, ‘In The Lonely Hour‘ launched at number one in the UK and bowed in at number two in the US, and has since earned five number one UK singles, four Grammy awards, three Brit awards, six MOBO awards, Q and AMA awards.

Speaking about the James Bond theme song, Smith said,

This is one of the highlights of my career. I am honored to finally announce that I will be singing the next Bond theme song. I am so excited to be a part of this iconic British legacy and join an incredible line up of some of my biggest musical inspirations. I hope you all enjoy the song as much as I enjoyed making it.
