Bollywood pays a final tribute to Aadesh Shrivastava

Bollywood paid a final visit to one of their most loved music composers Aadesh Shrivastava. Aadesh, who was battling cancer since 2011, succumbed to the disease early Saturday morning (September 5).

Amitabh Bachchan, Anil Kapoor, Ayesha Jhulka, Sonu Nigam, Pandit Jasraj and Shekhar Kapur were among the dignitaries who attended the funeral which took place earlier today.

A few days prior to his passing, son Avitesh Shrivastava expressed the need for prayers from family and friends,

“Father, dad, papa, पिता जी, tonight I’ll be praying for you because you mean the world to me and I request everyone on my FB to please pray for my paa’s speedy recovery. I know he is a fighter and he is fighting his battle gloriously I love you papa and I need you.”
