Sulakshana Monga’s extravagant Couture!

In this couture collection, Sulakshana Monga has incorporated designs of the ancient zardozi handwork with a touch of contemporary silhouettes. Heritage architecture has inspired her as a designer. She used rich textures and elaborate embroidery & sequins that made the overall collection breath taking!

Sulakshana Monga presented beautifully embellished high waisted lehenga that were paired with simple crop tops and jackets still giving off a feminine vibe while celebrating the heritage revival.

 A month ago Sulakshana Monga has traveled to Banaras, Bareilly & Lucknow in search for inspiration on behalf of her couture collection’15. She was heavily inspired and honored the heritage of Indian artwork and technique, reviving and reworking the designs of the late zardozi handwork!
