Zee TV’s Ek Tha Raja Ek Thi Rani has been receiving a lot of appreciation for the interesting storyline and great cast. Recently we saw how Rajmata (Anita Raj) has decided to throw a lavish party at the palace so that she could set up Rana (Siddhant Karnick) with another princess. She believes this would solve their financial issues.
When Rana finds out that his mother was trying to set him up, he behaves rudely with the princess and confronts his mother. He lets Rajmata know that he isn’t interested in marrying any time soon. We had seen that Rana isn’t over the death of his first wife.
Later on, Rana feels bad for his behavior and sends a drink to the princess via a waiter. The waiter mistakenly gives the drink to Gayatri (Drasti Dhami), who was also invited to the party along with her family. After consuming the drink Gayatri becomes unconscious and her family takes her back home. They realize that she is drunk and are very angry with her. Gayatri’s father ends up slapping her and putting her on house arrest. How will Gayatri explain what happened to her family? Will this lead to further misunderstanding between Gayatri and Rana?
